The GKSS Technology Transfer
GKSS-Forschungszentrum Geesthacht GmbH - Institut für Chemie
The GKSS research centre is one of the fifteen national facilities that make up the Hermann von Helmholtz Society of German Research Centres (HGF). The task of GKSS is to open up and shape strategic areas of future business for the national economy in order to create the basis for the technologies of tomorrow. Around 85% of the annual budget of Euro 65 million is provided by the German government (90%) and the federal states (10%). Increasingly, additional finance is generated through contracted research and the licensing of our own products and process patents.
GKSS Technology Transfer aims to transform research results into innovative reality. This can be achieved only through close co-operation with industrial companies and other research establishments. Their task is to provide support for the formation and maintenance of links with suitable partners.
